Cream cheese cookies

GATHER IT

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temp.
  • 4 oz organic cream cheese, room temp
  • 1 cup granulated sugar​
  • 1 egg, room temp
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract​
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour​
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder​
  • 1/2 tsp salt​

MAKE IT

Batter:

  1. Combine flour, salt, and baking powder in a medium bowl and set aside.​​
  2. Cream butter and mix with the organic cream cheese using a mixer.​
  3. Add in sugar and beat until the batter is fluffy.​
  4. Add in egg and vanilla until combined.​
  5. Combine dry and wet ingredients and mix.​
  6. Chill for at least an hour.​

Cookies:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.​
  2. Roll the dough into balls.​
  3. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.​
  4. Bake for 10 mins or until the edges are golden.​
  5. Cool baked cookies in room temp, then serve.
