Creamy avocado & spinach smoothie

GET IT READY

  • blender or food processor

GATHER IT 

  • 1 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted
  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves
  • 1 banana, peeled
  • 1 cup organic full-cream low-fat milk
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds or flaxseeds (optional)
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional, for added sweetness)
  • ice cubes, as needed

MAKE IT

  1. Put the organic full-cream or low-fat milk, avocado, spinach, banana, chia seeds or flaxseeds, and honey into a blender.​
  2. Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy.​
  3. If you think the smoothie is too thick, try adding more milk or water to achieve your desired consistency.​
  4. Add a few ice cubes to make it colder and blend again until smooth.​
  5. Give your smoothie a taste and adjust the sweetness with honey.​
  6. Pour your smoothie in a glass.​
  7. Serve and drink up!​
