GET IT READY
- blender or food processor
GATHER IT
- 1 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted
- 1 cup fresh spinach leaves
- 1 banana, peeled
- 1 cup organic full-cream low-fat milk
- 1 tbsp chia seeds or flaxseeds (optional)
- 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional, for added sweetness)
- ice cubes, as needed
MAKE IT
- Put the organic full-cream or low-fat milk, avocado, spinach, banana, chia seeds or flaxseeds, and honey into a blender.
- Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- If you think the smoothie is too thick, try adding more milk or water to achieve your desired consistency.
- Add a few ice cubes to make it colder and blend again until smooth.
- Give your smoothie a taste and adjust the sweetness with honey.
- Pour your smoothie in a glass.
- Serve and drink up!
